Where is Tulsa King filmed? Locations season by season
Only the first season was filmed in Oklahoma. From season 2 the production moved to the Atlanta area in Georgia, and season 5 is being shot in New York, where the story follows Dwight back to his mafia roots.
Locations by season
- Season 1
- Oklahoma: mostly Oklahoma City and its Prairie Surf Studios, plus Tulsa (including Tulsa International Airport and the Mayo Hotel) and Bethany. A few New York scenes were shot in Brooklyn.
- Seasons 2–4
- Georgia: the production is based at Eagle Rock Studios in Norcross, in the Atlanta suburbs, with location work around the Atlanta area, including Gainesville, Georgia. Tulsa is recreated there.
- Season 5
- New York: filming began there in autumn 2026, after Paramount+ renewed the show; the move ties in with a story that pulls Dwight back toward the mob world he came from.
Why did Tulsa King leave Oklahoma?
Reporting at the time pointed to money and logistics: Oklahoma's film incentive programme had an annual cap of $30 million, while Georgia is one of the states with no cap on its tax credit, and the Atlanta area offered large studio space. The show keeps its Oklahoma setting on screen.

Is Tulsa King actually filmed in Tulsa?
